Chewing Gum Art

Ben Wilson has a remarkable talent. He finds pieces of chewing gum that have been spat on the pavement and turns them into miniature masterpieces. He heats up the tiny canvases with a blow torch and then paints onto the gum with small paintbrushes.

Have you spotted any of his pieces near you? Send them into us at hi@originofcool.com and we’ll add them to this post.

Roa and Resto Mural in Heerlen

This is a very impressive wall painting by Belgian street artists Roa and Resto in Heerlen, a city in the Southern part of Holland. Again street art proves its utility to upgrade grey and boring city centers.

The World’s Largest 3D Street Art Painting

3D street artists 3D Joe & Max have been travelling the world for several years and creating works that encourage audience interaction.

Origin of Cool visited the site of their most recent work today at West India Quay, London and can say it was well worth the journey. They have teamed up with Reebok CrossFit and painted the largest example of 3D street art in the world. We’re not sure how long this will be here so get down there fast before the English rain washes it away!
