Martin Luther King Mosaic Made From Rubik’s Cubes
Pete Fecteau committed himself to a year-long project in which he created a mosaic of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. using 4,242 Rubik’s Cubes. He called it “Dream Big”.
For a short time it was the world’s largest Rubik’s Cube mosaic. He created it with the help of YouCanDoTheRubiksCube, First Park Congregational Church, The Student Advancement Foundation and Cooley Law School. It taught the audience about creatively using art in traditional learning disciplines like math and history, diversity, social justice and learning disabilities.
