The Spanish designer experimented for two years with various culinary techniques to perfect Decafe’s composite biodegradable material, a unique combination of coffee grounds and natural glue.”

Motion-Sensing Staircase Illuminates Itself
Edo Kriegsmann is a German designer with a taste for interactive furniture, furnishings, and fixtures. This includes but is not limited to light-up tables and this illuminated series of steps. The sensor at the bottom, once tripped, starts the sequence of lights leading up to the top of the steps.
