Origin of Cool: USA
The Coolest Remote Controlled Toy
When Origin of Cool first saw the Air Swimmers video (above), we were looking carefully for the strings. When we didn’t see any strings, we waited for the toys to slowly fall to earth…but they didn’t! The video made us think that this would be a great way to inject some fun into corporations. The scene where the fish comes out of the elevator is priceless!
Here’s the story from the website:
Mark Forti was like every other student at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. That was until he invented the X-zylo for a marketing project. The product’s performance amazed everyone who saw it. After stumping his physics professor as to why the object flew, Mark took it to his father, William, who worked in the aerospace industry. When William’s aerodynamicist friends could not explain how it flew so far, William and Mark filed for patents and formed the William Mark Corporation.
Origin of Cool sees these toys creeping into the events industry. Imagine sports teams designing mascots to float around a stadium before a game. You could even have mini blimps with sponsors on the side and a countdown to kick-off clock embedded.
